Points of sale are georeferenced in Involves Stage when the POS is registered, either manually or by import.
If the point of sale is georeferenced in the system, it will be possible to enable the Route planning through maps feature to register itineraries, an important tool on Involves Stage.
In manual registration, after entering complete data in the Address section of the point of sale field, click the Map address button in the Geopositioning section.
After, the Geopositioning pop-up displays a map for you to drag the marker to the exact position of the point of sale. Then, click on the Confirm button.
When registering a point of sale by import, you have two options for georeferencing. The first is to leave the Latitude and Longitude fields in the template blank so the system can generate the coordinates automatically.
If you choose this one, remember to check the Georeference imported records? option in the import pop-up.
In this case, Involves Stage maintains the points of sale without an approved location. Approval only occurs when the first employee checks in at the POS, ensuring that the location is correct. You can manage a POS that has its location approved or not in the survey filters of the Point of sale registration feature.
The second option for georeferencing the import is to fill out the Latitude and Longitude fields with the exact coordinates of the point of sale. In this case, remember to leave the Georeference Imported Registration? option unchecked, because if checked the system will ignore the coordinates that were entered, prioritizing automatic data generated by the address of the point of sale.
