On Involves Stage, you can limit the access to the app through a single device and manage which mobile phone or tablet your employee can log in on. You can set it up in two steps:
LIMITING ACCESS
In order to limit your employees access to the app to a single mobile phone, select the option Yes on the Limit Mobile Access to 1 Device field on the Access Profile Details page.
It’s important to limit the access whenever your company provides devices for your field team, or when there’s a need to improve security. That way, all the performed activities will be automatically synced from a single device.
MANAGING THE DEVICE
On the Employees Details page, there’s a Mobile Device field where you can see the model of the mobile phone or tablet being used by your field employee to access the App. It’s automatically completed by the system after the user’s first login.
If the access isn't limited to a single device, this field will remain empty. If limited to a single device, you must click Unlink to allow your employee to use a new device, otherwise they won't be able to log in.
It’s important to 'unlink' whenever you want to monitor the devices used by your team on the field, or to track and manage your inventory and property, as well as manage versions that are incompatible with Involves Stage.
UNLINKING SEVERAL DEVICES AT ONCE
You can also unlink several employees’ devices at once. For that, select the users on your list of employees and click on Unlink Mobile Devices. The apps on those devices will be logged out automatically and those who wish to access will need to log in again.
