Involves Stage allows you to bulk import your operation’s main records:
- Employees
- Leaves of absence
- Points of Sale
- Products
- Itineraries
- Response Validation
- Information Fields
During an import, the system may find some issues with the template. In this case, Involves Stage will generate an Error Report. The pop-up window Import Results will inform you of the number of items successfully imported and items with errors:
The list of errors will tell you the type of mistake and the line where it can be found. Example: “Database record 1 does not contain an Access Profile”, which means the error can be found on the first line of the spreadsheet.
To fix errors click the button Download error file. A new CSV file containing only the lines with errors will be downloaded. Edit the wrong information and delete the last column (named Errors), and save the file.
Important The system only processes one error at a time. Make sure the remaining columns are correctly registered. For example: if there are two errors on the same line, the second will only be found on the second round of verification. |
Back on Involves Stage, click the Import buttonon theImport Results pop-up window. The same window will let you know if your data has been successfully imported. The system will let you know if there are any errors left. In that case you will have to repeat the process until all imports are successful.
IMPORT HISTORY
If you close the Import Results pop-up window during import you can retrieve the information on the Import History functionality following: Menu > Advanced > Import History.
Here you will find a report of all imports done on your company environment with the total number of successes and errors. To see details on each import click on the name of the user who did the import and then View.
You can see all imported files and the download report on the History Data page.
