APPLICATION: When registering or editing an Access Profile, the permissions will define the accesses to basic resources on Involves Stage. Those permissions will impact the user’s web and app usability.
PRE-REQUIREMENTS: Access Profile’s Concept.
When registering or editing an Access Profile, the defined permissions will impact Involves Stage’s usability for all the system’s users, whether they are from the Backoffice team or the field team. Learn more about the concept behind each permission:
ACCESS TO DASHBOARD
This field is related to the operation monitoring’s access to charts and graphs. Dashboard can be accessed on the Web’s home page and, usually, some companies allow this information to be accessed only by management profiles. Field team’s users don’t have access to these charts.
SHOW OPERATION INDICATORS ON DASHBOARD
The operation indicators on the dashboards are the main four data displayed on Web’s home page. Just like the total access to the dashboard, these indicators are usually granted to profiles responsible to monitor the field team such as supervisors and Backoffice team.
ACCESS TO CHAT
When active, the user from this hierarchic level will have access to the chat resource. Although the list of users available to chat with will depend of other permissions.
CHAT WITH OTHER REGIONALS
When active, the employee from this access profile will be allowed to message their colleagues from other regionals. When inactive, the chat will only work with colleagues within the same regional. Usually, access profiles with management functions have this resource active yet operational profiles don’t.
For instance: If a Sales Rep access profile has been set to not chat with other regionals, but the Salesperson profile does, a salesperson could chat with sales reps from other regionals, though only when they start their interaction. Sales reps won’t be able to open a chat with a salesperson from other regional.
CHAT ONLY WITH EMPLOYEE'S MACROREGIONAL
When active, the employees from this access profile will be allowed to message colleagues from other teams within the same macroregional.
CHAT ONLY WITH SUPERIOR HIERARCHY
When active, these access profile users will only be able to chat with employees from hierarchy levels higher than their own. This option allows the employees to chat only with their superiors and don’t between one another.
ACCESS TO MONITORING
This option is related to the information displayed on the Dashboard, Operation Indicators and the Communication and Monitoring menu, where they can access data such as the employees’ location via GPS, their status (whether online or off) among other indicatives. Commonly, this option is active for management profiles.
MONITORING BY HIERARCHY
This option correlates with the previous one and restricts the access to monitoring data to employees from hierarchic levels lower than the ones able to edit.
ACCESS TO MESSAGE HISTORY OF ALL EMPLOYEES
This option grants the user access to view their exchanged messages between employees from the same hierarchic level. When active, the access profiles with high hierarchic levels will also have access to their lower hierarchic levels’ messages history.
LIMIT MOBILE ACCESS TO ONE DEVICE
By default, the App only works in one mobile device at a time linking the device model to the system’s first login. When active, if a user tries to login on another device, their access will be blocked. When inactive, they will be able to login on other devices unless the App is being used on another device.
