Seeking to increase the security and encryption of the passwords stored in our system even further, Involves Stage offers you the Repeated passwords functionality. When you activate it the resource blocks the use of repeated passwords. Whenever users need to update their passwords they will have to choose a different password than those they used before. Passwords currently in use will not suffer any alterations.
The Involves Stage Password security functionality allows you to increase the level of security of users’ passwords, preventing third-party interference. The functionality is only available for the System Administrator access profile.
You can access this resource following: Menu > Advanced > Security
On this page, you can see the status of your system’s security and repeated passwords. In order to change security definitions click on Block the use of repeated passwords in the center of the screen:
On the confirmation window, check the box Deactivate the permission for using repeated passwords , and then click on Confirm:
That’s it! Users can no longer use previously entered passwords. If you change your mind and want to allow users to repeat passwords, you can undo the process clicking allow the use of repeated passwords:
